What Happened To Winter?

Had another office visit on official start of spring. Speaking of spring, here in Saint Louis we have had 8 days above 80 degrees already in March, which is a record. We had only 3 days in the winter of more than 1 inch of snow. I didn’t even use the snow shovel this winter!

The only issue to report on this office visit was that my┬áliver enzymes are still creeping up. ALT, AST, and ALP are all in the high range – not as high as they were a year ago – but still high. This means there is still some GVHD going on in my liver. The previous month we reduced some of my medication, so this may be a reason for that change. As a result, going to have another blood check in two weeks and then may re-evaluate the medications.

Ironically, in spite of the liver results, I have felt the best I have felt in months. Been bike riding and plan on playing softball this year. ┬áLet’s see how things shake out for spring!
